Additional costumes:
Set all options to the default settings and complete tournament mode. One
additional costume will be unlocked each time the game is completed.

Use the following trick to unlock costumes easily. Play the game at the default
settings but with the character change at continue and set only one round for
each stage. Play the game with the character you can use best. Intentionally
lose the final match against Raidou and then continue. Choose the character you
want to unlock the costume for, then play and win the final match. You will get
the costume of that character. For example, if you can play as Kasumi well and
want to unlock the costumes for Lei-Fang, use Kasumi until the final match.
Lose against Raidou, then continue and choose Lei-Fang. Defeat Raidou and you
will unlock the costume for Lei-Fang, and not Kasumi. It is easier going
through a single match with an unfamiliar character instead of ten.

Get costumes for a character without using him:
To get costumes for a character normally, you have to finish the game with that
character under the default settings. However, if you cannot use that character
this may be boring and frustrating. Go to the options menu, turn on the
character change at continue, and put the match to win to one to speed this
procedure. Do not change any other setting. Complete the game with your favorite
character until the final match against Raidou. Lose on intentionally and choose
the character you want to unlock the costume. Then, win the match against Raidou.
It is easier completing a match instead of the whole game. For example, if you
can play Kasumi well but you want to unlock the costumes for Lei-Fang, use
Kasumi until the final match and then lose intentionally against Raidou. At the
character change, chose Lei-Fang and then win the final match. You will always
unlock the costumes for the character that beat Raidou at the end.
